Kozhinart, thank you for the interesting report! Familiar with the works of Dmitri Belyukina.
About the "modernization" of the Moscow railway stations, the creation of exhibition space and transport hubs, I've heard .. I'm curious how it was organized (entrances, security), because the real area of 3 stations, the kingdom of the homeless. Be there scary and disgusting. The Tsar's Tower, the 19 th century music, the clink of glasses and, of course, beautiful, richly dressed picture ... Perhaps a video about a creative way .. Tell us if you were at the opening, how it coexists with the world outside the walls? I feel that these are different measurements.

The event was closed.
By invitation only.
There are guards and caretakers in the halls.
And if I'm not mistaken gallery is connected with rooms for VIP passengers.
I do not have accurate information about it.

And this is strange, they have chosen station (strongly Loop location), and after the limited access there ... That is, this is another attempt to reach the rich people. I do not think that a good idea.
While trying to find a new point of sales for any to be applauded.

Constantine you are right 100 percent. But rastsenivaya risks of such an exhibition is probably correct. A comparison with modern Western ones, such as London. There's no hang originals in such places.
Projects KONTSAPTUALNO think over. For example a project dedicated to "Peace," selected works under the project. Further, printed banners and hung in the available for any public places such as railway stations, subway stations, on main streets. Such projects will make everything in the poster, but availability is complete. With regard to attempts to reach the secured class and there attitude of this class to the art a little bit different than ours. Yes, the public interest in the fine arts are much higher.

We're talking about sums in the art of 1500-10 000 $ right? The crisis has shown that this segment, and in the antiques market 10 000 - 50 000 $ almost completely stopped. And millions of records at auction continued. There is a direct correlation of the middle class, and sales in these segments. So, as a crisis of the hardest hit by the middle class (only had to appear), it is understandable that the interest in painting. In the west, and the level of the middle class higher, and the people in it more, and the crisis is not so much out there raging.
You have in fact been trying to cooperate with the gallery from the U.S., share experiences.

Thank you for your comment. I think your argument is absolutely correct. Also confirmed by information obtained from various sources. With regard to investing in this market segment 1500-10000 -50000. I can see just what some clients have for some time is more cautious in their acquisitions. Since this time they have become a priority of their business that was necessary to pull out of the deplorable situation. But in general I personally have on prices is not affected, I do not lowered. And sales when compared to before the crisis period has not dropped, but rather grown up. As for the gallery of America, yet all remained unchanged. Pictures have been posted by me in the internet gallery and I've since heard from the gallery had received. The works are to me. Sales are now taking place in Russia, one way or another from loyal customers or through galleries. I also get a lot of offers from other galleries, Europe and America, and wherever possible try to develop them. Must also be noted that it takes me an enormous amount of time, but I still try and write.
