Three draft Catherine Belkina combines reading different cultural subjects through the women's optics, as well as the portrait of a woman, acting as a metaphor for these subjects. Emotionally saturated works reconciled to the last pin and remind magazine series. Looking around gaze mother of two beautiful daughters, Katherine finds in the modern world models of women's destinies, described a century ago in the famous fairy tales.

In the project "Nemuzhskoy world" she takes her heroines from the crumbling fairy tales, both from the old house, and clarifies their role. "Sleeping Beauty" or the heady dreams, "The Little Mermaid" or sacrifice, "Little Red Riding Hood" or justified cruelty - the artist leaves the universal exact formula by which hopes to raise the ideal of women and say to them: Welcome to the real world. In the project "Famous hunters" the real world is subordinate to women through a variety of strategies for women's power, manifested in the portraits of young artists and metamorphosis of their bodies. The viewer sees a woman's creativity as a stuffing, as the idea of the fruit inside a woman. Project Paint - is a homage to Magritte, Petrov-Vodkin, Malevich, Klimt, Schiele, Lempicka. To get closer to him, to comprehend the feelings of the great artists at the time of the highest take-off, humbly Belkin cites their works, by substituting itself as a character, becoming a muse dead genius and a model for itself. External beauty and elegance of the inner secret of severe pain - this is the portrait of a young woman who lives among us.
