Hello!
Julius Klever (father) Oil on canvas 82h52 cm 1880. On the reverse side of the frame numbers are written in pencil "595" (height) and "825" in (width) Status of the canvas is excellent, no outbursts. But not very well stretched. How would "sags" in the center. When viewing the pictures on the light noticeable that throughout the canvas small holes the size of a grain of sand, but all over the canvas. In addition, the back side of the canvas, if we look carefully, noticed some inscriptions allegedly made in pencil. Expert opinion no. Picture name unfortunately is unknown. Most interesting. Perhaps it is in the database? The painting was bought long ago in an antique shop. Sincerely ... |
