In Crimea, there are a few major dealers and workflow out great. Leading gallery sales, I think - Yalta "Nick". Good work, Art-South cooperation. Tsvetkov (NH), Stolyarenko (PC), Bernadsky (Nhu and NH Code), Zakharov (NH), Bakaev (SX ARC), Miroshnichenko, Basov (NH), Sukhorukikh (DDA), Bortnikov (SX), Strelow, Ryman -- all this pretty good running the names and artists, old school - the realists and the impressionists. If anyone is still alive - that is my grandfather (except Rymana it below).
"Ukrainian" in them, though, no. Almost all - Russian by birth and education. Zakharov - student Lentulova, and half of the Crimea after him now - "zaharovtsy" followers. Strong was a peasant, ironed all his paintings. A Valentine Bernadsky way, the only one we have twice the national artist - Ukraine and Russia. Crimean schools in the people in general love. At the last auction of the Four Corners in Kiev work Stolyarenko (living artist, this is my favorite author, by the way) from the start to 30 thousand dollars (which is already much in itself for the old artist living) went for 80! Work, however, is decorative to stupor, I personally am not excited. Was written, say, for sale in France (Stolyarenko in the difficult years to earn, going abroad and working for "there the" gallery). But this we love: http://www.korners.com.ua/russian/pic_show/1273 |
