Friend-Samara photographer Vyacheslav Dorofeev found in one village of the Penza region that's such a miracle.
Church of the Nativity, illuminated and began operations in 1720-ies. (!!!) Not a day has not been closed, with the Soviets, the entire village stood up in front of the temple and have contributed nothing to do with him. In the church itself with all of those times, until the iron floor slabs. All utensils, all painted with the times. But most importantly, the iconostasis! Baroque, one of the first in Russia, apparently, and survived. Local legend, so some of the guilty Italian St. Petersburg was a local landowner "redeemed" from the prison, and for it came to build and make the iconostasis. Photos are many, but most now work for the calendar and album. Sam photographer tomorrow I will tell you more. |
