VV Astaltsev (1927, pp. Mesyagutovo, South Ural - 1994, Moscow) - Honored Artist of Russia. Early left an orphan, was raised in an orphanage. In 1944 at age 16 he volunteered for the front, took part in the hostilities in the Far East. After demobilization entered the Moscow Art School in memory of 1905, where he studied from 1951 to 1956 at the Theater department at the VA this Set Shestakova. In 1956-58 gg. worked as an artist-decorator in the Central Children's Theater in Moscow, held an internship at the Bolshoi Theater.
In 1964 he graduated from Moscow State Art Institute. VISurikova (teachers PP Sokolov-Skalya, AG Danilichev, VG Tsyplakov). A talented landscape painter, portraitist. From the principle refused to create custom work for the Art Works, praising Soviet reality. Solo exhibitions have repeatedly taken place in Moscow (the first - in 1957)
