Two pairs of drawing Easter postcards Boris Zworykin.
Gouache on paper on cardboard, 13 x 9.5 cm (3,5x5"). Signed with initials B. C, dated 910 g..
Drawings made for the production of Easter postcards in one of the Swedish printing Axel Eliassons Konstförlag or Granbergs const industriföretag (GKA), who at the turn of the century manufacturing orders postcards Russia and some other countries.
After the technological process drawings remained in the ownership of printing presses or destroyed. According to filokartystiv, these two figures were not included in production and therefore survived.
An exceptional rarity.

To sale the pair of pictures of Boris Zvorykin with the Easter greeting and Cyrillic monogram "b -". and dated "910" (1910). A pair of gouache on paper, glued on cardboard, 13 x 9.5 cm (3,5x5") each.

Paintings by Boris Vasiljevich Zvorykin (Moscow 1872-1942 Paris), very famous English illustrator.
This pair of paintings probably belongs to his works for one of the Swedish art publishers - Axel Eliasson''s Art publishing or Granbergs Art Industrial Companies (GKA), art publishings pioneered postcard in Sweden.
Almost all Zvorykins paintings he has done for book and postcard publishers disappeared without a trace after printproduction. They are very rare.

One of Zvorykins illustrations sold in 2008 for 20,365 euros.
