The exhibition of the St. Petersburg artist [B]Alexander PETROVICH Wojciechowski "Morning" (from 4 to 17 December g@ Moscow gallery "ARKA" can be called "double anniversary". Exactly 20 years ago, the friends organized the first exhibition of an ambulance doctor of Wojciechowski. In the same 1994 opened the antique gallery "ARKA".

Wojciechowski really began his adult life as an emergency room physician. When his medical career was almost 10 years, friends gathered generously rasparennye drawings and secretly organized the exhibition, inviting the author to "interesting Vernissage". And drew Dr. Wojciechowski always: lectures at the Institute, the call waiting on the ambulance, in the queues.

Such amazing history, as is the sudden start of exhibition activities (then solo and group exhibitions were a lot), occur with the artist constantly. It seems that all the characters of impossible scenes that were once familiar. The same sense of recognition of persons or events occurs in the viewer when looking at his work: the true key to a long attachment.

Pictures of Wojciechowski me remind you that in art there is no production instructions. The artist works with colored pencils, tells the story of a Danish Princess and the Boxing kangaroo. And through these drawn, funny stories, changing views of surrounding people and objects.

The exhibition in the gallery "ARKA" will be presented completely new works by the artist have appeared in the past year ("Test vehicle", "Captain", "Golfers" and others) and has long been a favorite drawings. The audience will also have the opportunity to see the unique illustrations for the novel by A. S. Pushkin "Mistress into maid", made by order of the publishing house of the University of Tokyo, before the book was published.
