Sedrak Sergei Ivanovich ( Agababov , Aghababyan Shadrach , 1878 - 1974), representative of the Paris School , painter and opera singer . He was born in Tiflis in Armenian family. He studied at the art school in Moscow. He graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. He was married to the artist O. Makovsky - Agababova , daughter of an academic Makovsky . In 1926 he emigrated to France and lived in Paris. He has performed as an opera singer ( tenor) , under the name Agababov . He participated in concerts at the Russian literary gatherings "Assembly" (1937). Was close to the circle of artists of Montparnasse . Exhibitor Independent Salon (1928 - Honorary Diploma , 1931 , 1939). Held solo exhibitions in London (1926 ) and Paris (Gallery Ecaille, in 1932), exhibited works in Lille, Arras and other French cities . He participated in exhibitions of Russian artists in Paris (Gallery d'Alignan, 1931) and Prague (1935). After the war, received invitations from galleries in Zurich , New York and Rome. In 1975 in Paris at the Salon des Independants was a big memorial exhibition of the artist. He is famous as a master of landscape . Represented in many XM Europe.
