Nephew ( !) And student (! !) Isaac Levitan , the son of his older sister Teresa. Brother Leo Birchanskogo artist and Parisian antiquarian and philanthropist Zachary Birchanskogo (1889-1961) , the owner of the store on the Boulevard Haussmann.
After the revolution, he lived in Paris. He painted landscapes , still lifes , flowers in the impressionistic style . Since 1935 he exhibited at the Salon: Autumn , the Tuileries and the Independent . Spent the exhibition in the gallery Charpentier in Paris ( November 1935 and 1937) and the gallery P. Loujetzky in The Hague (1938). One work gained Museum of Grenoble . In 1945 participated in the exhibition of Russian artists in Paris hosted by the Union of Soviet patriots , in 1947 - in a similar exhibition organized by the Union of Soviet citizens.
In 1953 was in France last exhibition , after the close of which died suddenly .

I will give this very Birchanskogo in good hands . A little crumbled ( seen in the last photo ) requires a competent design . I ask a ridiculous amount of 10,000 rubles.
