In the west, there is already a lot of projects where you can buy art online (eg ArtMazher , Arts ), and we have a decent sites ( ArtNau ).
I would like to understand - how they cover the needs of the artistic fraternity on the one hand , and the buyers of collectors , investors on the other? And if you put the question in a more practical level - what is the chance to take off in a new independent (not having offline gallery behind) website for the sale of paintings by different authors ? To my mind , all these sites are many disadvantages in terms of the modern buyer (design, usability, presentation of information, the lack of basic pieces like easy search and so on). But it is possible that the CA in the form of art and real buyers perceive all fine. Or not? |
