Architect, artist, and teacher. Academician since 1912
One of the founders of the Leningrad branch of the Union of Architects.
Born in St. Petersburg. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts (class of L. Benoit). In 1900 one of the best graduate of the architectural design was awarded a pensioner's trip to Italy. Trip report acquired architectural museum of the Academy. From 1901 he taught at the Academy of Fine Arts, the Women's architectural courses at the Institute of Railway Engineers, the Mining Institute, and from 1911 to 1925. - The Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute.
In 1901 - 1924 years. engaged in construction activities. They were designed more than 30 buildings. Among them:

    Hotel "Metropol" in Moscow (the construction was carried out under the direction of IV ZHOLTOVSKOGO);

    apartment houses in Moscow and St. Petersburg, suburban villas, mansions;

Bright page of his work was the construction of the Maritime Library in Kronstadt. Together with his brother VA Kosyakova, the architect of the Holy Synod, was involved in the construction of the Kronstadt Naval Cathedral, which became the architectural centerpiece of the city.
In St. Petersburg, survived several buildings that were built with the assistance of GA Kosyakova. The most famous - the building on the corner of the Noble Assembly of the Italian and Malaya Sadovaya street (joint brothers Kosyakova - Vladimir, Basil, George, made in 1912-1914.).
