If in earlier projects Garunova more interested in communication of religious traditions and modernity, the "Saints", he tried to interpret certain universal concepts. Here, the artist intensifies the contrast between East and West, the earthly and divine, ready-made and man-made things. According Garunova, he is interested in a purely cosmetic otherness. And the solutions it finds are always fresh, paradoxical, finding a plastic module, through which are impossible, it would seem, give rise to a combination of capacious and modern image.

In the large panels in the original rubber arks appear depicted silver paint saints, prototypes of which are frescoes of Theophanes the Greek. The artist was drawn harsh, ecstatic, dynamic freedom of these images, their intense psychological. Harun was not insisting on an orthodox discourse, it also explores a different religious tradition. Its Sufis, freed from all that prevents them from merging with God, reach the same state of enlightenment, that and the old hermit, Stylite in the Orthodox tradition.
