Masterpieces of Petrov-Vodkin in Samara

Masterpieces Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin taken away in Samara.
Soon, 3 February, in Samara Gallery "Victoria" will open a unique exhibition devoted to 130 anniversary of the birth of one of the greatest Russian artists of the XX century, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin. On the whole month 30 of the best works of the artist will be relocated from the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg the capital of Samara province.
The exhibition will present 18 paintings and 12 graphic works by Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin. First State Museum provides such valuable exhibits from its collection in a private gallery. This was possible thanks to the successful exhibition of the gallery, as well as its well-equipped: "Victoria has an exhibition hall of the European class, meeting all the requirements of professional exposure. Expected exhibition - this is another gift to the city from the company Novatek, through the financial support which the inhabitants of Samara have seen the masterpieces of the Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow Kremlin and private collections.
To see the masterpieces of the Russian Museum Gallery "Victoria" can be up to 3 March 2009.
