so fake or not
At the 17th Conference on the examination in November 2011 , in Moscow on this issue was a report I.L.Buseevoy Davydova , "Icons and forgeries : the 30th anniversary edition V.M.Teteryatnikova ." There are a lot of what was said , for example, that in the 20- 30s in the workshops Grabar specially produced copies of famous Russian icons for sale in the West, particularly Bryagin took part in this.
I do not know whether it's true - but perhaps there are some grounds for such information. |
