They show the movie "Return of the Queen," about the process of restoration of paintings by Allen Ramsey "Portrait of Sophia Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, wife of King George III». I watched four times - from the flaw, which was the picture before restoration, re-created almost a masterpiece. As meticulous restoration work masters - something glue, something imposed, something struck ... I'll be honest, the process is fascinating, but especially nice to see the end result. Of Russian painting remember Falk - juicy, bright, saturated. And that was especially nice because it's the fact that today in the Tretyakov hand I could not take delivery, and missed at a reduced ticket as a member of the museum (and perhaps party WWII ... >).
