March 28, after a week, will be an interesting auction - Russian and Soviet photography from 1900 to the present day. Auction auction house conducts PIASA in Paris.

There are interesting, in my opinion, lots. Total 188 jobs.

A sixties Yuri Abramochkin (b. 1936) "Winter Yard 1960s with the estimate 1800-2200 euros.

2 Boris bold (1951-1998) "St. Petersburg 1980, estimate: 1500-1800 euros

3 Boris Saveliev (b. 1948), "Chernivtsi", 1987, estimate: 800-1000 euros.
This minimalist style photography. The late Alexander Slyusarev filmed in the same style: a minimum of lines, fragments of the urban landscape

4 Photos BOB Dmitri Baltermants (1912-1990) "Attack", 1941, 2500-3000 euros. Another print from this edition has already appeared at auction Bonhams in London and dustpan in Moscow in 2008, in the first case, a picture was sold for 1,560 GBP (3,048 USD, 1972 EUR), the second - 50 000 RUR (1850 USD, 1465 EUR, 1164 GBP). Picture of the war period are always in demand at Western auctions.

5 Sergey Levitsky (1819-1898) Portrait of Nicholas II and his family 1894-1898, estimate 150-200 Euro. Fairly low price for Levitsky, because he - one of the first masters of photography in Russia.

6 Of course, Boris Mikhailov! And as always, the photographs are the poor and disadvantaged, as the image of Russia in the eyes of the west. This is a picture on paper, collage, 1988, eystimeyt 3000-3500 euros. Auction record for Mihailova - 14,400 pounds (approx. 20,000 euros) for a snapshot of the series "Sots Art" in 2007.

7 Artifacts Francisco Infante Arana (b. 1943) shot in 1993, with the estimate of 2500-3000 euros. Very interesting photos. Most of all I like his artifacts with mirrors, and of Suprematist play in the snow.

8 Conceptual photographer Igor Makarevich (b. 1943) "Two Pinocchio" 2002, estimate 1800-2000 euros

9 and 10 Galina Moskalev (b. 1954) and Igor Savchenko (b. 1962).
"Memories of Childhood" 1958 (800-1000 euros) and "7.90-8" 1990 (1000-1200 euro)
This is a Minsk school pictures. Photography, as you can see, different special effects in the picture. Authors of this school worked with the film - left scratches and stains, use sophisticated rendering images, hand colored photos.
But many Russian photographers do not understand this picture, assuming that the picture should be a "real" and not fully processed.
