Alexander Anufriev was born in 1940 in Odessa. He studied at art school for children with Nikolai Mitrofanovich Zaitsev. Interestingly, in one group of art school with trained Anufrieva V. Founder of unofficial art in Odessa. Apartment Anufrieva became one of the first "apartment" show the city, but Alexander himself, his wife Margarita Zharkov, without exaggeration, was the soul of non-conformist movement in the city.
