In the halls of the Italian Museum of Western and Eastern Art in Odessa today presented to the public the creative project GROTESQUE Alexei Malik. The artist has repeatedly exhibited in museums of Ukraine, but in our museum, he first exhibited in a solo project. At the exhibition the presence of 50 paintings, PhD, a common stylistic feature. Peculiar handwriting of the artist at close its penetration into the essence of things is characteristic of "grotesque" obrazotvorchestva.

Grotesque inherent desire for a holistic expression of fundamental contradictions of life, which determines the combination of sharp polarities therein. The very form of grotesque poses suggestive of content: consecrates the liberty of fiction, displays a "contradictory unity" heterogeneous, destroys the common prejudices ....
