Painting Mirel - Need help in determining

Hello -

I live in the United States, North Carolina. This past weekend, I bought two paintings in a charity shop. I can not tell if they are oil or acrylic paints, but they have done in grisaille technique. The artist's name Mirel, and I'm not sure that these pictures were made Mirel Shahinian.
