Amateur, the picture is the year 1928

Of those photos that you have given, this does not have. There stood "BPI /01", where "01" is clearly meant in 2001 - the year the painting - as a canvas. 1928 - year of birth of the artist as well as IP Vasiliev was born in 1930, its authorship, therefore, unnecessary.

"Rhododendron" - this is not the name of the artist, but, obviously, the name of the painting. So traders in the markets is called the plant, cut twigs which they sell at the end of winter. If they put in the water, they bloom the purple-pink, fluorescent blossoms (see attachment). In fact, this plant has no relation to this wild rosemary, and is called "rhododendron naped and seems to be in the Red Book.
