With eleven

With artists-members LOSHa united opposition to the canons of "socialist realism". First performed in November 1972 in the VZ at Okhta. Participants: E. Antipov, Z. Arshakuni, V. Vatenin, G. Yegoshin, J. Krestovskiy, V. Rakhine, K. Simun, V. Teterin, L. Tkachenko, Tyulenev, B. Shamans. "They immediately became a symbol of" the Sixties ", a symbol of artistic freedom and independence in the choice of expressive means. They joined a protest against the "socialist realism", the time of Khrushchev's "thaw" and maximalism typical young STI "(Nikolai Kononihin, 1998). 2-I group exhibition held in 1976 in the same ( "Exhibition of nine"; J. Krestovskiy and B. Shamanov it did not participate). Later group members exhibited two or three, held solo exhibitions in Leningrad and Moscow. In 1990 the group took part in the exhibition 26 artists from Leningrad and Moscow in the CEH "Manege". By this time it has been joined K. Gushin, R. Dominov, L. Lazarev, Yuri Pavlov, E. Rotanov and B. Troyanovsky. In 1997 at the annual exhibition "Petersburg" in CEH "Manege" was provided exposure to 25-year anniversary team. In 1998 the exhibition "Artists of the range of 11-ty" (from the collection of N. Kononihina) was held in the Memorial Headquarters Nekrasov. In 2002, group exhibition was held in the gallery "ArtGavan.
