September 30, 2010 at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Moscow was unprecedented in its humanitarian significance Action - Presentation collection of paintings by artists of different countries, intended as a gift to Nagorno-Karabakh.

The idea of this campaign endured and accomplished, GA Gabrielyants, professor, Ph.D., philanthropist, and just a wise man who knows the price of peace on earth, especially in the land where people live with a lot of problems. This unprecedented action involves the mode of creation of this collection - to collect paintings from around the world in Dar (just with a capital letter) a small breakaway republic, living in difficult circumstances. Collected about two hundred paintings, geography sponsors and donors has no limitations. In an old mansion Lazarevskom presented a collection of paintings, which brought together members of the club, which is already about 2 years, brings together businessmen, journalists, soldiers, scientists, artists, politicians and diplomats to implement various humanitarian programs - from the reconstruction of monuments of the Soviet era and construction of the hospital or recreation center for young people to help libraries, colleges and large families in Nagorno-Karabakh. One of the most lively and interesting projects of this club - the creation of the gallery. Initiator, the soul and driving force of the project - Grigory Abramovich Gabrielyants. Thanks to the perseverance and ability to see the target, as well as a remarkable organizing experience (Of course! On account of GA is not one open field, the leadership of Gubkin Institute and the post of Minister of Geology of the USSR), he not only succeeded in a short time to inspire this noble idea is very different people, but, most importantly, to bring it to realization.

Of course, the Armenian art collectors and artists responded to the first. Artists' Union of Armenia gave 40 paintings in the representation of Nagorno-Karabakh in Yerevan. Among collectors - primarily Gabrielyants himself, who gave 21 work, Samvel Hovhannisyan - 20 paintings, Valentin Bagiryants - 18, Gevorg Zatikyan - 17, Professor Evgeny Popov - 7. Sergei Avakian, Yuri Grigoryan, Nerses Yeritsyan (Moscow), Narine Zolyan (Yerevan), Spartak Harutyunyan (Minsk) donated their nascent gallery raboty.Osobenno noted efforts Honored Artist of Armenia Martiros Badalian, buyout very effectively helped collect paintings in Yerevan. Pictures are from abroad - of American, French, Mongolian, Ethiopian, and certainly, Russian artists. And this number is incomplete and unexpected in its geography, but united in its rush - the artists give their best work, even those that did not want to leave. Landscapes from different countries, the streets of different cities, the palette of colors of different people - a case diversity has been, including one other Professor Gabrielyantsa idea as part of the same education. Infinity those differences, styles, national color, time periods coincided in point of space, which was created by the passion of his soul, GA Gabrielyants.
