On the lecture. In imperial China the various aspects of life is strictly regulated. These rules are also reflected in Chinese costume. That dress, which we are familiar today, dates back to the Qin Dynasty (221-210 gg. BC). Even then, the material was identified, cut, set, color and patterns on Chinese robes.
The latter law was issued in 1759 under the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1736-1795). He fixed shape garments, decorations, ornaments, the attributes of a formal dress in accordance with the ranks of officials, subject to continuous historical tradition.
Chinese clothing was comfortable, shilas of silk and cotton, decorated with embroidery in silk and gold threads. The decor used a certain system images. Embroidered silk gown became a symbol of the Chinese empire.
