Dear experts
Help Council for promotion of the artist. It is about heritage. It is interesting to do this itself, and not just sell the whole collection. I have heard different opinions: that it is better to work with a gallery (the dealer). Like, if you take the work in different galleries or dealers to sell different, it is bad form and collectors will be interested in painting "that is all." And the opposite view that the right to use as many galleries, so that the name was recognizable. What do you think about this? |

Put name and examples of works can not. We can say that the artist known in narrow circles. I like it very much, the work I have to eat it (a little). The artist died. And for chance I might be really a lot of his paintings. In fact, very significant, if not most of the inheritance. Therefore, and supported the issue.

It is important to know your target. Maybe you want to unwind, but leave a legacy, not to sell is one way. You can untwist with commercial purpose. There's another approach. It interesting, I agree. |

I have not decided yet how you work, do not call names.
First, divide the whole collection on, say, three parts. First, the closest to you, do not show anyone. The second part, the largest, section is in two parts: the wholesale sale (the future dealer, who will you do) and sales after the promotion. And, finally, the third part, to start working with the distinguished (good) dealer ... Do not work with several dealers - each will pursue its own goals - the work will go away, sorrow will ... Good luck ... Posted 6 minutes Themselves doing. But to master the art market can be well-connected and finances. If you have them - success will be (assuming, of course, quality of goods). |

I do not know whether my proposal correctly, but I think so. Firstly if you have enough work, you have to lay out some part. If you decide to sell some part, it should be part of the best works, but not vice versa. Do not sell things that are weak, or let the buyer choose their own. And remember what dolshe you will find a buyer, the better you sell, and let the promotion of a working man who bought you some work. Do not hurry. There were times when I sold some work, but I have not bought, then I am only too glad to this event. Well, like this one yard in 1954, I sold at one time for $ 200, a bargain for $ 150 like I did not give, then I made the price $ 500, also did not buy when I bought the thing does not make it more expensive one would buy for $ 2000, but I do not give, and then it all depends on the needs, if I need it and selling for $ 10. Now I'm not selling him for $ 5000, and I had a buyer Armenian, and each time I asked when I matured. Armenian Yard in 1954 to \ m size 44.5h33.5. Movses Baghramyan. Member of the Union of Soviet Art.

And what is the logic in that? Explain, please. It is better to sell the same for two thousand, than later for 10.
