Plein air "White nights" or Peter through the eyes of Moscow artists
In St. Petersburg opened plein air "White nights", which is attended by well-known Moscow painters Nikolai Krutov Alexei Burtasenkov and Dmitry Popov. Artists will play the etudes in North Palmyra about a week and work in the historic centre of the city and in Peterhof.
Created EN plein air works will be exhibited at the road shows, which will be held in the Office of the government of St. Petersburg, in Moscow, at the Art Museum. V. S. Sorokin – House masters (in Lipetsk) and St. Petersburg galleries.
Creative trip takes place in the framework of the International project "Palette of reality – Russian world, run by Creative Association "New Wanderers" under the patronage of the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of arts and the International Academy of art. The project's artistic Director – people's artist of Russia, academician, Secretary of the Union of artists of Russia Gennady Provatorov.
"This is not the first visit of the Moscow masters in my hometown and each of them was crowned with new paintings and watercolors, pleasing fans of Russian classical art", – said the head of the Creative Association "New Wanderers" Oleg Maksimenko, – "this time the program includes not only traditional sketches in broad daylight, but at night. The benefit of St. Petersburg's white nights have a special magic of colours, shades and fleeting, slightly hazy images passing on the edge of reality, sometimes on a subconscious level. The task of artists is to capture the smallest nuances and shades of this unique phenomenon and transmit their feelings to the audience. I am sure that the trip will be very productive and all participants will create new masterpieces of painting".
