In 1942, Galina Gavrilovna finishing Art school. In 1945 she became the wife of prominent Belarusian sculptor Zaire Isaakovich Azgura and moved to Belarus. In 1946, enters into the Belarusian Union of Artists, and from 1947 began its active exhibition activities.

Reflecting them with unaffected simplicity, it tends to cause the viewer with a sense natural, organic human, albeit invisible, presence in the world of nature. This is possible only when the landscape "seen", and thus transformed into an artistic image that is stored in the memory longer than the visual impression.

Written from nature, landscapes Galina Gavrilovna quietly become part of our inner life. When an artist writes, for example, the motif of the March evening - and she wrote not only the woods, but a calm quiet awakening of nature, and that fleeting light sorrow which so often accompanied by a human soul stirring feelings of joy updates.

Work in the open air at once developed in the creation of a sketch of the future picture. Casual look "disciplined", subject to certain, pre-chosen composite decision, prompted by contemplative nature and the laws, learned from the time of artistic theory and practice.

Galina Azgur prefers calm balanced composition with a dimly expressed diagonal, which allows soft as to avoid monotony images, and an unnecessary fuss. In the works always dominates the foreground - one of the characteristic methods of the Moscow school, which also include certain liveliness "staging" and the overall static.
