This theme is dedicated to become a famous Academy of Fine Arts of the USSR MV Alpatova an outstanding and talented painter VV Astaltseve.
 
Mikhail Alpatovs as art historian, professor at the Moscow Art Institute. VISurikova actively interested in the work of his student VV Astaltseva more time with the institute and an article in the album VV Astaltseva, released in 1988 by publishing house "Soviet Artist", he wrote it. This is practically the only work of the great art critic (extremely mutilated by the censor), dedicated to Russian artist of the Soviet period. MV Alpatovs conceived this work as a great album with more than a hundred illustrations (as evidenced by a letter that is stored in the archives of Viktor's daughter), but the theme of Russian history and Russian landscape at the time show the publisher is not relevant.
  
I decided to scan this album and share with images forumcanam stunning reproductions of works of Viktor Vladimirovich Astaltseva.

We heartily endorse the idea for the exhibition. But - like the exhibition timed to the dates of birth!

VV Astaltsev, the artist is very original, and I think in the future for the gatherer of realistic art, will be desired by the author. Several years ago, accidentally saw these two works could not resist the temptation (not my topic) and bought it.

As an art historian and expert buyer of Soviet art of the postwar period, I can say that the prices of paintings Astaltseva will steadily grow. This will take place due to several factors:
1. Paintings 50-ies include a temporary category of antiques, a priori, that immediately makes them more expensive.
2. The author is included in the international catalog of the best artists of the world
3. Overseas prices for his paintings do not fall, but on the contrary - increased.
4. The fall in prices on the Russian market occurred on subjective (and possibly - targeted) reasons that are not considered as correct to discuss.
5. At auctions exhibit things frankly preparatory, incomplete nature podmalevki, schischennye work (seen with the naked eye). Some companies are aggressively selling asleep linseed oil landscape, another - unfinished thing, etc.
