This landscape Shishkina under a different , though , called " Forest Path " was sold at the autumn international Bukovskis in 2008 for 6,100,000 euros , that is little more than 500.000 pounds ( half the current estimate ) . The provenance , really , it was suggested that the jeweler William Bulin buy now in Russia , and then she was transferred to the family by inheritance . But there's no word on whether that Bulin her personally ordered painter . It would seem - one word , and the difference already . In McDougall , must be their source of information . |

Some clarifications on the works of Zhukovsky .
Lot 67 . Can not be the work of 1928 . Notwithstanding anything to date . Incidentally, I 'm not sure of the correct reading of the figures . Work earlier , pre-revolutionary . At Zhukovsky bad in Poland buying pictures , even with the Belarusian landscapes . He does not need to write from memory Vyatka . The artist had brought with him a lot of pictures . On many old works ( mostly with the Belarusian subjects ), he wiped his signature and the date of the Cyrillic alphabet , and wrote over the signature of Polish . At present work is visible to the old signature , writing names in the French tradition - S. Joukovsky , and higher - in Polish S. Żukowski . Lot 124 . Signed "Ostrozki /Podorosk" somewhat mysterious . What is a redoubt not clear to me . Podorosk - this is Bohvitsov ( Volkovysskii county /district ) . Zhukovsky just visited Bohvitsov . The family is the work of the artist's view of the estate .

Developed by a cheap model products by mail " terribly annoying . It is impossible to consider any details or the big picture . Why was " be original " and not to adopt the model sites , well zarekomendovashih themselves for the big auctions - is unclear . There are several critical reasons , but you should check before you make public . In general , the first impression : " poured out , as out of the bag . " Bright , expensive , messy . Maybe it was conceived ? |
