Ksidias, Pericles Spiridonovich
(1872 - 1942)
Russian Soviet painter, graphic artist, printmaker.
Biography
Pericles was born July 13, 1872. Former Greek citizen.
From 1889 to 1893 he studied at the Art Academy, was a student of IP
Pozhalostina. In 1891, he received a full-scale class of second and first
silver medals. In 1897, for the engraving "Portrait of AF Kokorinov" Pericles Ksidias was awarded an artist. In 1906 he received the title of academician.
Product P. Ksidiasa exhibited at the spring exhibitions at the Art Academy, where he was a member of the Company name AIKuindzhi. Most of the biography of the artist is the creation of state bank notes and postage stamps. Pericles Ksidias died in 1942.

Jobs Goznak
Ksidias worked in the Expedition of Storing of government securities and
Goznak subsequently was his supervisor. He engraved images on banknotes and stamps, including the first stamps of the RSFSR "The hand with the sword cuts the chain."
