Default Alexander Deineka. Soviet master of modernism "

In the Roman Exhibition Palace started the first big event of the year in Italy, Russia and Italy to Russia. The exhibition "Alexander Deineka. Soviet master of modernism" was opened by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi .

Year of Russia in Italy opened an exhibition of ancient icons are not, or Russian avant-garde, and the exhibition of masters of the Soviet to the bone. Alexander Deineka unique: it combines the creativity of our sincere commitment to the Soviet ideology of innate commitment to European modernism. In favor of this project was the fact that Italy has experienced periods of both totalitarianism with us and deynekovsky new world to the limit of a clear and full of work and sports, Italians, too close. Finally, a project that was fresh, almost ready and it is export quality.

The exhibition started with the fact that the publishing program of Interros, Vladimir Potanin Charity Fund has published the schedule of meetings Deineki Kursk Art Gallery, after which it was first on this scale is shown at the Tretyakov Gallery. The second stage began, and that exhibition of paintings made with the Tretyakov Gallery, Russian Museum and other major museums. Ahead - that of monumental art and sculpture Deineka, and while the Italians had the opportunity to choose any of the artist and hang them in the Exhibition Palace in Rome.

Right before the arrival of President Medvedev in Rome banner at Exhibition Palace changed - and instead of the gloomy face of a Mexican god of the facade of the palace was decorated with a frail boys' backs, smooth surface of the sea and air. The exhibition is called "Soviet master of modernity" - however, the word modernita want to transfer, not as "modernity," but as "modernism."

Italian curator Matteo Lafrankoni made from our rushing experimenter Alexander Deineka present, the quality of European modernist. Pictures are in chronological order, highlighting the main themes - "Sports" "pioneers," "War," "foreign missions". There are no illustrations to the "godless at the bench - not good, a stone's throw from the Vatican. But there is a picture of a famous sports stadium named after Mussolini. Massive aunt in "On the construction of new shops and scatty" Tekstilschitsy "," Football ", the striker ball is above the bell tower, and poster assembly," Who whom? ".

All of these paintings, hanging widely and freely (as had never occurred to our museums) on the colorful walls emphasize the ability to work Deineki line and blot, do not be afraid of large surfaces, colors and sharp angles. The exhibition does not have a mixed picture - nor anecdotal "Nikita - the first Russian flyer" or "Amazons." The sculpture, which have a poster minded Deineki output is not very round, intelligently moved closer to the wall. The two darkened rooms projected on the ceiling mosaics made Deineko for stations Mayakovskaya and Novokuznetskaya.

The culmination of the exhibition - a high domed hall, in the end of which, under the ceiling, a huge mosaic "Milkmaid" (made of ceramic tiles and large pieces of smalt). All in white, shining, with a stern face, she just pretends to be the patron saint of this new, open to us Italians artist and new style - " Soviet modernism ".

Just from the visible.

Well, Deineka had some popularity in Italy and in 30 years.

It seems they have even bought several of his paintings.

And the artist, of course, fabulous.

No, not "harder" because the equal Matisse in general probably anybody in the 20 century not.

But Matisse was not "strong" by the artist - and in this sense and Deineka it stronger, and Picasso.

In terms of "force".
But Matisse had other strengths that exceed Deineka and Picasso.

Deineka and Picasso could compete, who better to draw, for example ...

Who is stronger? In what sense? Who is more expressive!
Dignity is all different and self-sufficient. Original!
All the same expressive Matisse's nobody there. can be put together and make sure. We still have Plastov, Nyssa, A. Gerasimov, Pimenov so much more Zabelin ... many in a row. The Epoch Times!
