Default Museum of Contemporary Russian Art in Jersey City

Museum in Jersey City was founded by Alexander Glaser and Valery Zhiltsova in November 2006, but in this building since Sept. 17, 1980, that is the anniversary of the Moscow Bulldozer Exhibition, held September 15, 1974, opened the first American exhibition of informal art. Since then and until 2006, here promoted the works of Russian nonconformist artists Oskar Rabin, Vladimir Nemukhin, Boris Sveshnikov, Anatoly Zverev, Oleg Tselkov, Ernst Unknown, Eric Bulatov, Mikhail Shemyakin, Vladimir Yakovlev, E. Steinberg, Oleg Vassiliev, and other non-painters. This tradition continues today, in addition to it, along with the works of former informal, displays works by contemporary Russian artists who live around the world, including in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Novosibirsk, Novokuznetsk, Vladivostok ), in Belarus, Ukraine (Kiev, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Feodosia), as well as in Paris, New York, Jerusalem, Toronto and Montreal for four years before the first exhibition in the museum building, A. Glaser founded a similar museum near Paris , the exhibition of which were transported to America and continued here.

Mr. Zhil'tsov engaged in Minsk in such business as sewing uniforms and making chevrons. And with a certain reason founded gallery "Zhilbel. He was (perhaps somewhere and is now) a collection of modern Belarusian art. Quite a diverse and vkusovschinnaya. There have been several works of high class, but largely secondary works and authors not bad, probably because "that Mr. Zhiltsov played in patronage a la master (I think so).

And then play with clothes and chevrons over, something with the police, he nahimichil. But managed to escape from Belarus I think that part of the museum - of the property Zhiltsova.

There is a site of his collection, now it is available, but it was that disappeared. So why look so far is

That's me and interesting. Many artists sell their work for real money at the time, but when prices rose this became known as "paid for nothing."
