In June 2005 this auction to sell the work Makovsky with an estimate 4-6 thousand Canadian dollars - photo 1.
Although the original painting "Charca Meda" sold at Sotheby's in November 2002 for 133 thousand pounds sterling - photo 2. After I said that it is a fake (which they naturally did not agree), still 2 hours before the auction description was changed - (After K. Makovsky). Many people do not notice someone left a bid in advance. The work went for 11500 thousand U.S. dollars. Canada. Writing can be anything they want. But the level of expertise as an auction, and the buyer can be judged even from this case. Original Makovsky was published on the cover of Sotheby's catalog, so that special look, and it was not necessary. |

Arts Students often copied works of different artists.
That it is no news. And the fact that this copy is immediately evident even in the face character. This is especially evident when the photos are close. It's obvious where the original and where the copy. |

The problem is that many auctions take just imitations of famous artists, not even knowing who and when the fake is made. And opisyvyut them as "In manner", "After", "Copy", "Circle of". But when you bring the classroom, the original author unknown to the auction, you often hear the response: "We have not had sales of an artist, so our auction house is not interested to take this work at auction." Ie fake copy of a famous author's take, and otherwise promote its sale, but from the classroom to them unknown artists refuse ... There are many examples. |

Cyril Syzranskiy, but then it is not that what is written on the back, but the fact that it was written with the face!
If Kolesnikov saw the horror he would have turned over in his grave. Cyril, you're far better than I can see what is written on this work. If the second photo work is very similar to this at the first photo just what that darkness. |
