Hello.
I am an absolute beginner in the forum, and perhaps chose not the best part, however continue - recently, quite unexpectedly, I got a picture signed: A. Harlamoff, 1869 Paris (76.5 x 64 cm) with a view to its possible sale. (see scans) After careful examination, using ultra-violet flashlight, I could not find anything suspicious, the signature is not lit, only traces of minor restoration. I checked the date of arrival of Alexander Kharlamov in France - the middle of 1869, so-that it is quite possible that he could have written this work at the end of the year. Besides, I found his work "My grandmother and her granddaughter" in the collection of the Russian Museum, also dated 1869 and the year in my themes are similar and both works were written in the same style. (scan attached) And now the questions: What do you think, about this work? Is there a real chance that this picture Kharlamova? It is worth-I turn to the experts, and if so, to whom and where? Can I sell this work in Russia or better to go to Christie's or Sotheby's? Thanks in advance for any help or advice. P.S. Of course a little premature to assess this picture, but perhaps at someone there is speculation about this? |

I came across information about the catalog-resonator AA Kharlamov. Here I found a small message, and, most importantly, the coordinates of the Saratov Museum. I do not know how you can call this edition of the directory-reason, but ask them might be worth having. Maybe this will help you. Good luck!

Incidentally, I have a couple of extra copies. If someone has to write. The book is very stoyuschaya and competent. |
