November 6 at the Central House of Artists on the Crimean shaft opened an exhibition of nominees "Kandinsky Prize" 2008.
Kandinsky Prize was established in 2007, following the example of Turner Prize in Britain, Marcel Duchamp in France, Vincent in the Netherlands, Joan Miro in Spain.

The exhibition runs until November 20, 2008.
Unlike the 2007 competition, this year's nomination for "Artist of the Year" renamed to "Project of the Year" and the audience award and was completely abolished by the fault onto the actual audience. Voting took place at the exhibition itself by filling a special bulletin. But our audience could not resist and had voted dishonestly, filling several pages for a single candidate, etc.
