Goldfinches Evgeny (March 21, 1927 - December 12, 1991) Soviet graphic cartoonist, Illustrator, designer. Known as one of the leading masters of caricature in the post-war Soviet art. Honored artist of the RSFSR.

Worked a regular freelance artist in the magazine "Crocodile", the author of the albums humorous drawings "Humor", "good morning", "big and small", "My friends", "Caution!" . Illustrated the works of writers and satirists, drew for magazines "Funny pictures", "Health", "pioneer". She did several performances in theatres, worked for the circus, clown making rooms, a participant over a hundred Moscow, Russian and international exhibitions. The works of Eugene Shcheglova are in many museums around the country, published in his albums, genre paintings, collections of drawings of the masters of caricature, published in Moscow and abroad, as well as in domestic and foreign periodicals.
