Default I.E.Krachkovsky (?), "Before the Storm"

Dear art lovers!

Krachkovsky "Before the Storm."

1890 Oil on canvas, size 47 x 60 cm, sign more difficult to read, there is damage to the paint layer, covered with varnish.

Sergey_YB, as for me, your picture is just a copy of a painting by I. Krachkovsky.

Maybe so.
But if you do not mind, could you tell the detail, the quality of art (paintings).
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Default I. E Krachkovskii "Before the Storm"

After your comments, there are more questions:
Correct to compare the picture from the Odessa Museum and reduced to 10 times the area of a copy , as it is clearly reflected in the quality of parts picture?

If the author is still IE Krachkovskii then we expect the same quality of the canvas in the lower 10 ? ... the more canvas 120 years without restoration?

This is not Krachkovskii no , of course.
And not even the academics .
And by the way , is written quite well.
If I had to hang on a wall or a reproduction of Krachkovsky your things - I would just prefer yours.
Not because it is better written , but because it is written in a different way , not in an academic manner.
Perhaps this is some student later dabbled courses .
And it is possible that later he became quite famous artist.

So indulge artists sometimes - doing freestyle copy famous paintings in his manner .
Recall the "Portrait of Balthazar Castiglione " by Raphael, Rubens freely copied and stored in London ( EMNIP at the Courtauld Institute ).
