По умолчанию Birthday Mozart

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born January 27, 1756 in the Austrian city of Salzburg.
Art Mozart - one of the highest summits of world music culture. Creation of the great Austrian composer reflected the progressive ideas of his era, inexhaustible faith in the triumph of light and justice. In Mozart's music is dominated by cheerful colors, clear, unmixed lyrics, yet it contains many pages, rich with passion, emotional turmoil, drama.

The legacy left by the composer, striking versatility and richness. Indeed affected by the inexhaustible range of themes and images; Mozart owned 23 pieces for musical theater, 49 symphonies, more than 40 instrumental solo concerts with orchestra, sonatas for piano, violin, a large number of different ensembles. In all these different genres of Mozart showed himself as a bold reformer who enriched their content, update the expressive means of art. Classic elegance, clarity of expression, noble beauty, combined with the depth of the content determine the enduring ideological and artistic value of his music.

P.S. One of the few classical works from fleeing "goose bumps" on the back every time I listen to - /Requiem - Лакримоза.
Let's talk about music!

As for the reflection in the music of Mozart advanced ideas of his era, can not say. Judging from the letters and memoirs of contemporaries, he had little interest, except for music and billiards. But its music is not nearly as cheerful and optimistic, as it seems at first glance as it was assumed until the 50's and 60's. last century. But even then insightful researchers, such as Einstein (Alfred) or the Hildeshaymer wrote that even in Mozart's C major is often not gay, but rather a solemn, sometimes even a sad one ...

Catalog Ritter from Mozart left 626 works (including incomplete). I am a little surprised given here the number of symphonies - they are numbered from number 1 to number 41 (Jupiter), but in reality the 40 because it was proved that 36-Symphony wrote Michael Haydn, Joseph's half brother.

Mozart was very fond of Michael Haydn, with whom they were together in Salzburg in the service of the Archbishop Koloredo. One day, having visited Haydn in one of his trips to Salzburg, after moving to Vienna, Mozart learned that Koloredo commissioned Haydn 6 duets for violin and viola. Haydn sick and composed only 4 of the duet, but Koloredo refused to pay him a salary until it receives the entire series, so Haydn sat absolutely no money.
Two days later, Mozart, Haydn brought 2 missing duo. in G major (K 423) and in B flat major (K 424). The fact that they were written by Mozart, became known only after the death of Michael Haydn.
This is not the most famous pieces by Mozart, but listening to them, you find yourself in paradise (DG disc with G. Kremer and K. Kashkashian or melody with Oistrakh)

Artem, let me advise you to listen to the great Mass in B minor (K-427). Paradoxically, it is not so easy to find a good response to Mozart - always remains the impression that it contains much more than what you hear. In my opinion, the best recording of the Mass under Frikshaya (DG).

With enthusiasm join the Board of Irina, this music is so beautiful that takes your breath away (by the way, in one of the editions of DG, it is written on one disk with the Messiah before)!

As Freemasonry Mozart, schematically, there are two opinions:
According to one, the traditional (ie, leading the beginning of the second half of the 19.) and presented primarily by Einstein (but he wrote: "it is possible to think that Mozart svstupil Masons in the sensation of his utter loneliness, where he stayed, like any artist and the need for a sincere friendship "), he was really serious Mason, another expressed the first time Hildeshaymerom in 1956 in his book, written for the 200 anniversary of Mozart's birth, which caused a lot of noise (the Austrians, adherents of" Mozart in the chocolate ", it completely failed to understand: the story of this book can be compared with the ups and downs of Promenades Sinyavsky from Pushkin, with the difference that Hildeshaymera for it still did not put - though one feels that like), the Masons Mozart joined because so did all of that elite. It should be noted that all of his correspondence with "brothers-in-a box" is reduced mainly to a note asking to borrow money to him, addressed to the generous and wealthy Puchberg, Mozart never fails and will not end my life in poverty, the very same Puchberg whom Mozart dedicated his heavenly Divertimento for violin, viola and cello K-563 (DG, Kremer, Kashkashian, Yo Yo Ma).

But do not think that I attribute to Mozart certain cynicism in these notes is a hopelessness and despair, which appears in their reading of a lump in my throat ...

Immediately after the death of Mozart in Vienna, various rumors were afloat, but they were all related to the Freemasons. Some said that Mozart's Masonic killed because he allegedly divulged some secret ritual, while others - that he was killed by a specific "brother" from his wife who was having an affair with Mozart (this "brother" is a name, I too lazy to look for her, but if someone needs, I find). The latest version supported by the fact that a few days after the death of Mozart, this "brother" had killed his pregnant wife and then committed suicide.

In any case, this question is ridiculous: Mozart became who he was - but for me, this is the cleanest, but also the most elusive, inscrutable genius of the human race - not because of and not contrary to his "Masonic membership ticket, and that membership does not explained in the riddle of Mozart. Such things are impossible to understand, they can only love.

P.S. As for Cherubini, this Napoleon pet somehow just cling from selfish considerations - more careerist impossible to imagine

Thank you, LCR, interesting details. In no case would not reduce everything to "Masonic membership, simply supplemented the facts of his life, not least, mention that his music became more profound in those years. The Magic Flute and Don Giovanni, Symphony No. 40 -41

Mozart was the Master of the Lodge, which implies an active position. (Although the post is only a year, usually after Wizards beat thumbs)

Magic Flute consists entirely of Masonic symbols can therefore rumor about that Mozart razglasil ritual secrets

Another supplemented who may not know, Masonic Funeral Music KV 477 is not connected with the funeral, this music is devoted to the ritual of the third degree in Freemasonry

Oh, I realized that you did not want "to reduce everything to Masonic membership"

Not that I wanted something to challenge, the subject interests me, and I just am sharing my thoughts on the subject.

Here you see: after all, Mozart wrote only the music for this play. Text composed Schikaneder, Mozart's friend, actor and theater director in the Vienna suburb - one legend says that he kept locked up by Mozart, feeding his oysters and wine, until he completed the score.
Schikaneder was also a Freemason. So someone must be killed for divulging all-important secrets (if any secrets were in fact disclosed, in what I believe with great difficulty), a composer or a playwright? Nevertheless, Schikaneder lived a long and relatively prosperous life, he was persecuted, being, like Mozart, is extremely wasteful, subject only to the part of creditors.
The play itself is not very original: a few years before its creation Schikaneder wrote and put another piece in the same "magic" genre, "The Philosopher's Stone", teeming with all sorts of Masonic allusions - the audience loved it, as masons intrigued. His new play, the plot of which he podcherpnul in Wieland (fairy tale "Lulu and The Magic Flute"), won immortality by Mozart - as always, he transformed it and gave it a kind of higher reality.

So who should be killed for divulging secrets paramount
What is surprising, one was an errand boy, younger age and has no structured personality, another impresario, dramatist, director, apparently an influential man.

No, Artem, while all of these positions were not prestigious, except that we are we are talking about the Imperial Theater. But the minstrel, a drunkard and a spender Schikaneder direktorstvoval almost circus Puppet Show, and in general, as told by the Empress Maria Theresa of Mozart's father and son, all this necessity is erratic - Schikaneder belong to the same malovysokouvazhaemomu category of people.

Ira will be very grateful for the help (though I think she had read everything that is written in 4 languages).
