Vitaly grief: Life Line. A retrospective exhibition of graphics and paintings 1930-1980 years.
CHA. Halls 22-27. 3rd floor.

For the first time in 30 years in the CHA with 17 to January 30 will be a retrospective exhibition of graphics and painting of the outstanding Russian painter, illustrator, People's Artist of USSR, Vitaly Goryaeva (1910-1982). The exhibition will be on display around 1500 (!) Works, divided by decade - from 1930 to 1980. A separate unit will include about 60 works - cartoons for the magazine V. Goryaeva "Crocodile". The display cases will be presented to the rare original books with illustrations by W. Goryaeva.
All of us in childhood, recited poetry Agnes Barto, fond of "adventure" Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, watching a gymnast and a girl Tibulom Suok Yuri Olesha. And always look at these literary characters through the eyes of Vitali Goryaeva. Illustrations for the works of Pushkin, Gogol and Dostoevsky entered the golden fund of domestic book graphics.
Goryaev entered the history of art, primarily as a book illustrator and schedule. Few who are familiar with his paintings. The fact that viewers will see now, an exhibition devoted to the 100th anniversary and birthday and the 30th anniversary of the death of Vitaly Goryaeva, perhaps the first time present so completely masters of the creative heritage - beautiful graphics and original painter.

Vitaly Goryaev started drawing in the mid-1930s . During this period, the Soviet school of graphic is booming , were still alive the traditions of the early twentieth century , which developed a strong cohort of new Soviet painters . Deineka B. Tabor and teachers were Goryaeva . Kukryniksy, Cheremnykh , L. Soyfertis , D. Bisti , G. Verey - his contemporaries. By the way , as explained by the organizer of the exhibition, the artist's son , Sergei V. grief - Academician of Academy of Arts, People's Artist of Russia, - it is likely not an exhibition , but an attempt to provide the most complete museum named Vitaly Goryaeva that exists (as a non-profit Foundation) , but without a space and all this legacy will be more than once billed separately, in different thematic exhibitions , and so well, and much more refined version. In this museum - the Foundation has more than 800 works by other artists ...
