Barancheev Mikhail Sergeyevich (1920-1998) --painter, the first director of the Museum of Fine Arts Archangel. Member of the Union of Artists since 1961
Born in the village Kalynove Moscow region. In 1946-1953 years. studied at the Moscow Art School and the Moscow Art Institute. Surikov in VA Modorova and DK Mochalskogo .. Graphic designer Archangel publisher, the author of illustrations for the book: "Once the guys in the world" ES Kokovina (1957), "The owner of boron fire" ID Poluyanova (1957), fairy tale, "Total stronger" NS Belinovich (1959), etc.
A large collection of paintings was acquired by the Archangel Museum of Fine Arts.
