Alexander Leonov, a follower of creative concepts P. Filonov, was formed as an artist in the 50s and 60s in Leningrad. Through the fascination with surrealism and symbolism, he unexpectedly came to the so-called "analytical abstraction", and after check-out in 1975 in Paris - to the geometric using elements of op art, and volume.
