Martin Dmitry Emilevich (1860 - 1918 , Vologda )
Russian artist, landscape painter and graphic artist. Member of the Moscow Society of Art Lovers and Moscow Association of Artists .
Lived and worked in Moscow. In 1880 received his education at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Participated in exhibitions of the Moscow Society of Art Lovers . He was a member of the Moscow Association of Artists ( 1899-1900 ) . Participated in exhibitions Wanderers (1900-1917) His works were acquired , in particular, the imperial family .
Was influenced creativity II Levitan. Painted in the traditions of Russian realistic landscape school of the second half of the nineteenth century , devoted much attention to the beauty of the northern nature .
Since 1916 he lived in Vologda. He taught at the Art School of Vologda .
