This movement arose in New York in 1946, and have evolved primarily obrahom in the United States until 1970 It can be divided into 5 phases: - First generation; - Painting action (action painting); - Chromatic abstraction (colorfield - Color Field Painting); - Post-pikturalnaya abstraction; - Geometric abstraction.
