I want to start a new topic : " Inheritance works of art ( antiques ) and copyright ." Over the past couple of years - the most pressing issue , in my experience .

As this issue is resolved or not resolved in my life ... I would appreciate the forum participants , who will share their thoughts or experiences.

Not long ago, faced with such a history : the artist 's widow , who long ago entered into an inheritance , she learned that her husband's work was sold at auction. It is clear that for her, as for any person, such recognition means a lot , and she looked forward to further interest in the work of her husband.

According to her, she respected the new Civil Code , familiarized herself with the right route, tried to appeal to the " interested organizations" and realized that she herself can not achieve anything ...

Organization is engaged in "collective collection " of such payments need to be registered ( which is understandable ), but also some form of inheritance registration for copyright.

Maybe someone from the forum participants encountered this problem? Just for the prescription of years , re-registration is possible only through the courts ...
