Vladimir Ovcharenko, owner of one of the most successful metropolitan galleries, Regina, told us about his new project - the international fair of contemporary art Cosmoscow, which will be held from 17 to 19 December in a new exhibition space at the Red October, as well as the main problem of this scheme - the absence of positive in society. - How long did the idea of a new fair?

- The idea was in the air: so far Moscow has a good fair to good western galleries. There is a local fair - but there is fair international level, in which we all need. That is a fair, which we call an art show, and we will do now in Moscow.

- Did you have a concrete example before your eyes?

- Of course, we know how to construct both large and small fairs, many took part, well versed in the mechanism inside - it is not easy, but we will try to do everything at a good level. - What is the business component of the project?

- If we talk about business, it's a very risky project. And of course, we do not assume profit is possible, there will be losses. But if we create around this project an interesting story, already well into next year will spend to create a larger event. This is now an experiment, an interesting and exciting.
