People's Artist of USSR (1989). In 2003 he was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation. Ukrainian painter, landscape , master of thematic paintings . One of the founders of modern Crimean art school. Born in the village . Ozeryany Chernihiv region. The first painting lessons received from Professor A. Eisner Leningrad Academy of Arts . Then he studied at the Leningrad Institute of Fine Arts , 1940 - 1950 ( with interruptions) - Leningrad Academy of Arts ( BA Yoganson workshop ) . For brilliant success after the first course was marked by Stalin scholarship . At the end of ACh with a group the best students (F. Zakharov , M. Bortnik, B. Apanovich etc.) was sent to the Ministry of Culture of the USSR in the Crimea . Together they taught in the Crimean Art College . N. Samokisha and raised a number of talented Ukrainian artists. Laureate of the State Prize of the Crimea. His works are in the collections of National Art Museum , museums, Simferopol, Sevastopol , Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv and other .

 


Valentin Bernadskiy (1916-2011)

People's Artist of USSR ( 1989). From 2003 - People's Artist of the Russian Federation. One of the founders of the modern Crimean art school. Received first lessons in the studio of the Leningrad painter Eisner. Then became a student of the Leningrad Academy of Arts. After graduating from the academy he was sent to Crimea with a group of top students (F. Zakharov, M. Bortniki, V. Apanovich), where he taught in the Crimean Art College named after Samokish.His works are in the collections of Ukrainian museums and abroad.
