Bactrian Gold - one of the archaeological brands, which entered the world of science through the discovery, made during excavations under the leadership of the Soviet archaeologist VI Sarianidi in 1978. In northern Afghanistan, in Tilla-Tepe was discovered burial ground, dating from the beginning of our era. In six burials were found more than 20 thousand different items of gold, which adorned dresses and dead bodies. Abandoned by Soviet archaeologists in the Kabul Museum, the treasures after the capture of Kabul, the Taliban were gone. In 2003 tillyatepinskie treasures were found again - this time in the distant basements Kabul National Bank.
