November 17, 2009 in Russia Academy of Fine Arts at the address: Str. Prechistenka, 21 opened an exhibition of works by Olga Tuchin.
The exhibition includes etchings, lithographs and pastels 1980 - 2009.
Olga Tuchina in 1983, graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts, Moscow State Institute im.V.I.Surikova. Was awarded a fellowship in creative workshop of the USSR Academy of Arts under the guidance of the wonderful wizard OG Vereisk.

The subtlety and delicacy of color, attention to detail, mastery of composite solutions is what makes her graphic work. Many of them are devoted to Moscow, its past and present. They are filled with a sincere sense of love for their native city, its history, its streets and landmarks. O. Tuchina carefully recreates the atmosphere of life of citizens in the past centuries.
Nostalgic mood permeated etchings from the series "Russian estate." In the still life appears anxious attitude to the artist antiques stored in a very spirit of that time, its unique signs.
The theme of church celebrations and ceremonies O. Tuchina drawn in the graphic series: "The Orthodox Church" and "Russian monastery.
In early works, marked a romantic tone, Olga Tuchina creates images of their favorite poets - V. Zhukovsky and Pushkin.
Since 1995 Tuchina works in the artist's studio MVD Russia im.V.V.Vereschagina.
In 2008 she was awarded the silver medal of Russia Academy of Arts, for a series of still lifes made in the technique of color etching.
His works are in museums in Moscow and Moscow region, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
The exhibition runs until 29 November 2009.
