«I do not want to repeat the fate of the building in which we are now. Here, we very much had to do independently, "As a correspondent of the newspaper LOOK press office of the Department of Urban Development of the capital, Acting Mayor of Moscow Vladimir Resin, has signed a decree on establishing a working group that will develop a draft of the new premises for the Tretyakov Gallery.
Also, members of this group should prepare options for a new town and country planning in the Crimean-Valls.
One of the options under consideration is a draft of the elite residential complex "Orange". It will be a 15-storey complex of unique architecture, resembling an orange cut into wedges.
All his five shares - some segments of the building, located under the slope. In the "Orange" is supposed to place the exhibition area, offices, hotel rooms, residential apartments.
Facades "Orange" will be implemented in two colors - orange at the base, close to the upper floors it will smoothly flow into silver.
According to the Department of Urban Development of Moscow, a working group headed by the chairman Moscomarchitecture Alexander Kuzmin.
It will also include representatives of the Moscow department of natural resources and environmental protection, city construction complex, Moscow Heritage Committee, the prefecture of the Central District of the city, the Department of Culture, as well as several other structures of metropolitan government.
The working group will start from mid-September and will be held twice a month.
In the Tretyakov Gallery LOOK told the newspaper that the decision of city authorities has heard nothing.
"As far as I know, this is only a draft, but about a specific decision, no I do not have. I know that the Moscow government appealed to the president of Russia to resolve the issue throughout the redevelopment along the waterfront to the Crimean Val and by order of the head of the country had established a special team that solves the problem. Indeed, the main issue in this whole situation - this is exactly where we go ", - stressed the Deputy Director of the Tretyakov Gallery Lydia Iovleva.
According to her, the process of relocation, subject to safety regulations will not harm the exhibits. The alert staff of the gallery more cause the conditions in which they may be.
That is why experts have already begun to compile a list of technical requirements for new buildings.
"The museum - this is a very complicated structure, and is first necessary to accurately calculate how much space is necessary for restoration workshops, excursion bureau, as well as storage and display of art. On the one hand, the rush is unacceptable, and on the other - would not want to repeat the fate of the building in which we are now.
It was built as a Gothic cathedral, 25 years and at the time of completion is obsolete, not only morally, but also technologically. As a result, we had a lot gradually completed independently. Let's hope that this time will not happen "- said Lydia Iovleva.
