I would like to know how much approximately this picture you can get, as well as to identify the author of the work or at least know in which direction to look... the Picture is old, about 70 years old she exactly is. Unfortunately one photo and not quite clear...listen to any options. Thanks in advance to those who will have some thoughts about this picture.

Thank you very much, Yes, it is his painting, it all fits. The picture is the original purpose of the glass in this case, to protect from the elements, dust, dirt, air drops, etc. Well, it explained to me, as the picture came to me in hand already under the glass.
